1) Resident Evil 6: Capcom’s flagship survival horror series returns in 2012 with this prequel. Set ten years before the events of the first game, you play as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. As they investigate a strange cult, they end up facing hordes of zombies, vampires, and more.

2) Darkstalkers: Legacy of Kain: Based on the comic book of the same name, this beat ’em up allows players to choose from nine characters (three male and seven female). Each one has unique powers and weapons to use against enemies. You can use swords, guns, bombs, grenades, and more to kill your foes in style.

3) Darksiders: There are five games in this action-adventure series about a fallen angel named Fury. He must travel through the realms of Heaven, Hell, and Earth in order to seek vengeance against the Seven Deadly Sins. His weapon of choice is the legendary whip Deathgrip, which lets him swing it around in midair to knock down his enemies.

4) Dead Rising 2: Frank West, the photographer turned zombie killer, is back for another fun adventure. This time around, he’s been infected by a mysterious virus that turns him into a raging monster. Now, it’s up to players to stop the outbreak by defeating zombies, mutants, and other dangerous creatures.

5) Van Helsing: In this third-person action game, you control Sir Malcolm Ross, a vampire slayer who has recently discovered that vampires exist. With the aid of his trusted sidekick Sophie, he sets out to exterminate all bloodsuckers from Europe. Using an arsenal of weaponry, players can destroy vampires, demons, werewolves, and other creatures that threaten humanity.

6) Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Players can take control of Simon Belmont or Alucard during this adventure. The former fights with a whip and shield while the latter wields a dual-wielding sword and pistol. Together, they fight their way through Dracula’s castle, slaughtering any undead creatures they come across along the way.

7) Vampire Hunter D: This series is based on a manga by Yoshihiro Togashi. It revolves around D, a lone warrior who uses a magical sword to hunt down the monsters known as vampires. After finding out that a vampire is behind his mother’s death, he vows to track down the creature and end its life once and for all.

8) Lost Souls: This PS2 game is a sequel to Darkstalkers: Night Warriors. Players can choose from four characters: Ryo Akabane, Saya, Yuri Sakazaki, and Mika Nishimura. Each one has their own signature moves, attacks, and combos to master. Plus, you can also play with up to three other players in local cooperative mode.

9) BloodRayne: Another game from the Darkstalkers universe, this one follows the adventures of the titular heroine as she searches for her brother’s killer. Along the way, she battles dozens of creatures and kills them using her trusty twin blades. Just make sure you don’t run out of ammo, because you’ll need it to survive.

10) Devil May Cry: In this action-packed game, you play as Dante, the son of the demon Sparda. When his mother is murdered by the Order of St. George, you embark on a journey to find and destroy their headquarters. You can also form friendships with other characters and visit numerous locations throughout the world.
