PRINCESS

1) Princess Maker 3: The original PC version came out in 1995, which means it’s considered an oldie but goodie by today’s standards. As one of four girls (all named Maria), you’re tasked with raising them until they turn 18 years old.

2) Hakuoki: If you’ve ever wondered what life would be like living as a noblewoman in ancient Kyoto, now you can find out. Travel across the land to meet handsome warriors and form relationships with them to see how far you can go. You’ll gain access to more than 50 romance scenes with each character.

3) Tales of Hearts R: If you’ve never heard of the Tales of series, it’s probably because it’s aimed towards females and focuses mainly on dating sim elements rather than action or RPG mechanics. In this installment, you play as a young woman who meets three other characters who will accompany her on a journey to the past. She’s able to influence events by forming romantic relationships with them.

4) Love Plus: This game is part otome visual novel based on the anime of the same name and part dating simulator. Players must help one of six main characters (each based on an actual member of the cast) achieve happiness by talking to other characters and forming romantic relationships. This is quite the undertaking considering there are nearly 300 endings to discover.

5) Harvest Moon: Like most farming simulation games, this one tasks players with taking care of livestock and growing crops. You’ll need to make sure your fields are properly tended to, while also keeping your animals fed and healthy. When you get married, your spouse helps out with the farm work, so you can focus on having children instead.

6) Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI: Although this is based on the famous Chinese historical text, you won’t be fighting battles against other kingdoms. Instead, you’ll be helping Liu Bei and his allies overthrow Cao Cao and reunite China under the Han Dynasty. Along the way, you’ll meet numerous heroes, generals, and scholars who can join your cause.

7) The Sims 4: Unlike previous versions, this one is full of customization options and comes with several expansion packs. You can design your character however you’d like, and there are more careers available than ever before. One of the best features is being able to raise kids together with your significant other. With mods, you can easily play as a princess.

8) Final Fantasy VIII: After making her debut in Final Fantasy VII, the heroine is back to save the world once again. However, she isn’t alone this time around. Fourteen playable characters from previous games return to assist in your quest, along with over 20 additional ones.

9) Bravely Default: This Japanese role-playing game is based on the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast. While traveling the world, you’ll encounter various towns and dungeons filled with dangerous creatures. Fortunately, you have a powerful sword and magic at your disposal to overcome them. And if you’re feeling generous, you can also try to befriend the locals.

10) Neverwinter Nights : A Dance With Rogues: As a female thief, you have to avoid getting caught by the guards and completing your missions without alerting anyone to your presence. You’ll have a variety of skills and items to choose from to succeed, including stealth abilities and potions. Beware of the other rogues, though, as they might try to steal your loot.
